THE END FM is excited for you to meet its Youth Leadership Team, currently made up of nine members from communities across the South West region.
The youngest is just 16, and the oldest 22, creating a perfect team who are keen to lead the direction of THE END FM and be a voice for youth in our communities.
The team’s purpose is to meet, discuss and make decisions on relevant issues in relation to The END FM, including the direction of the station, its policies, material and content, the people involved, its projects, and its representation and ability to connect and please its target audience. Additionally, it is a leadership program aimed at creating young leaders in our community, securing a bright future for all.
And if that wasn’t good enough, those involved in the Youth Leadership Team has an opportunity to be a part of a community group and connect with others with the same passions and goals, develop life skills, such as communication skills, which can help with personal and professional situations, including employment opportunities, and participate in free exclusive training. But by far, the biggest benefit of being on this committee is being a part of creating something which youth are proud of and want to utilise.
